    Furinín Nóirinín"
    Two of the elders of the children would take one of the younger ones, one by the arms under shoulders and the other by the legs swinging them from side to side as far as their arms and then reverse the motion by advancing a step and returning (?) chanting gleefully:-
    "Sic soc sallinín
    Puirinín, nóirinín"
    Each child got his turn
    this was a game in rural districts 60 or 65 years ago and Mrs Susan O'Sullivan then a child in Bonane played this game herself and says the children swung in this way enjoyed it as much as they do now in the "Swings or Chair Planes" and she says that somebody who was swung to the tune
