    When an animal dies of a contagious disease like blue-quarter if he is buried in the neighbours land it (the disease) will fall on the neighbour's cattle His own will be free from it afterwards.
    A person should not give the loan of eggs fro hatching or a hatching hen if he wants his own to be lucky nor should he tell the neighbour how many cows he has nor sheep etc.
    A Friday daughter is unlucky.
    At a birth an old man went out to view the moon & on coming in he said what a pity there is not a little more of the moon. No notice was taken but he baby died in seven weeks time. the old man's prophecy was recalled
