  1. One night there was a man out very late. He saw a man coming towards him with a brown cloak. The man asked him where was he going and the other man said he was going home. The other man gave him a warning not to be out so late any other night. The man was not out so late any other night. But after a while he was out late again and he saw the same person again and the person said that he gave him a warning before but that he would not give him one now. So the man went home and he got very sick, and he was sick for some time. He did not go out late any other night.

  2. There was a man coming home late one night and he was passing a house when he saw a light. The light was moving round and round outside the house and he thought that there was something wrong. Brien was the name of the man who owned the house and he was asked if there was anything wrong and he said no, but the next day he got a letter from America that his sister was dead. The man that told me this story saw the light himself. Paddy Sullivan told me this story.
