    Ferret's leavings (that is milk left a ferret) when he is satisfied, is given to children who have whooping cough and has been found a good cure.
    Groundsel, oatmeal and fresh butter are used for drawing boils. Ribleaf and mutton suet with pear soap & sugar all boiled together and used for the same purpose as well as being a good for healing sore heads which were so common long ago.
    Ivy caps were also good for heal-
