  1. Long ago the girl in this parish used believe in having their fortune told to know what way of living would their husbands have, or would they ever get married. There was a house which is now no longer there at Ardea, west of the post office and the old woman in that house would tell fortunes. The way she used tell was to get seven saucers and place them in a row on the table. On the first saucer there was a few grains of oats, on the second money, on the third
