It is the custom in my home in the village of Kilbrittain Co Cork, townland of Glanduff, Barony of to light a blessed candle for the Poor Souls at nightfall on the eve of all Souls Day and also on the following night. Prayers are said for the Poor Souls by the household when the candle is being lighted.
