    Coins were referred to as the "ten-penny" ( a coin worth ten pence) and the guinea, a gold coin worth twenty one shillings). At present the 6d piece is called a "tanner" and the shilling coin a "bob". The s2/6d [?] coin is called a "half - crown". The 2/- coin is now called a "florin".
