  1. There is a remarkable stone in a field of JOhn Sullivan's of Rathcommane in the parish og Ballyhar, Co. Kerry. In the Penal days it was said that priests used to celebrate mass on this stone. On one occasion, in the year 1902, the stone was removed by workmen to help to fence a gap nearby. To their amazement the stone was back in its former position on the following morning.
