    B. One day a poet was at Kilrush Fair. Here Seán Twomey, the poet, had a tent. The former had heard of him and was anxious to meet him. He kept reciting a line of poetry in the hope that Twomey would hear him and answer him. The following is the line:-
    "is fada glas an cleic ará as buaic Do rige"
    " " " " " " " " " "
    " " " " " " " " " "
    Seán having heard him answered -
    "Ar bailiaugad sreac na bpear ag ót na dige."
    Having heard Twomey the other poet said:-
    "Rá sgilling im'glarc agus is cearg go n-ótpain í
    to which Seán's reply was,
    "is mair an cearr, rá an brair agus an hóp gan díot:
