    B. One day Egan O'Rahilly and Carroll Daly arrived together at a shoemaker's shop. Each wanted a pair of boots made. The shoemaker said he would make the boots for the man who was able to express the order. Carrol Daly's order was as follows:-
    "Cuir mo tráir san áir is [?] den sréig.
    Bíod dá mala breágra díreac téc;
    Bíod dá snáí an a márta buida le céir.
    Agus bíod sí sásra bláímar Díoninar cad."
    When Carrol Daly had given his order, as above, Egan O'Rahilly ordered thus:-
    "buan, Daingean, Daiainaíl í brad níos fearr ná mar ordurig cearball."
