    B. One day Owen Ruadh O'Sullivan of Meentogues Co. Kerry, entered the workshop of a shoemaker who lived near Bandon Bridge. Owen wanted his boots repaired as soon as possible. The shoemaker who was making a hurling ball when Owen entered said he would repair them immediately if he (Owen) would compose a piece of poetry having the words "Droichead na Bann Dan" and liathroid at the end of the piece. The following is the piece which Owen then and there composed:-
"Is fada an fear fionntach gan féasóg.
Le n-a chuid meanuightha reamhar agus bréan bróg.
Is follug dón ceanntar gur fada atá breall air.
    Droichead na Bandan agus liathróid"
