    Egan O'Rahilly got a night's lodgings from a man named Daly. Before he left in the morning Daly asked him to compose a piece of poetry praising him (Daly) for his hospitality. THe piece composed is as follows: -
    ''Uí Dhálaigh mhóir, ba mhóir é do bhiadh 'is do dheoch,
    Air ba mhór é do dhranntán ina ndiaidh,
    Agus t'anam dhon Diabhal 's do chorp.''
