    Story
    A friend of mine told me a story of a remarkable apparition which he saw himself when he was a boy.
    He was returning home from the town of Kenmare at dusk one evening and he had to pass by a churchyard. When he came near the churchyard he saw a tall man cross the wall and come out on the road. He felt afraid because he thought there was something uncanny in the man's appearance. He was glad when he saw the figure going away from him. As it moved away it became thinner and more like a shadow and it disappeared when it came to an old ruined house nearby. When he went home he told his mother and his
