  1. One night, there was a man out late as he was coming along the road, he heard a strange noise, he looked around, and he got very much afraid, the next thing, the noise passed him out, and stopped his animal, he looked for the noise, and he found it was a bunch of cats.
    One of the cats said "Man, man", when you go home tell Tom Gameroe that Kate Hogan is dead." He went home, and he was telling his wife the story, when his own black cat jumped out from under a chair, and said "T-ainm oín Diól" an é máthair mo leanbhaí go leír atá marbh." and he ran out the door screaming and bawling and never came back again.
