There was a man in the east of Kerry. He was a great card player.
One night he was coming home after playing cards. he was crossing a fort. He saw a light and he heard a voice, he went in and saw nothing the next night the same thing happened.
The man went home he got sick and died.

Old Story about Kilnanare Grave yard
There is a Church Yard in my district called Kilnanare. They say there is an old tradition following it that there were two lovers to be married. On the eve of the marriage the girl died, the boy was at the wake, he went and cried over the corpse, then turned to the people and said " I only wished I was the corpse". That night the boy got sick his request before he died was to bury him side by side with the girl. He died that night and both coffins(continues on next page)
