  1. In olden times times it was a custom by old women to smoke a clay pipe. One day an old woman was going to Confession and she put her clay pipe inside her blouse. She was saying the Confiteor and when she came to the part ''through my fault, through my fault'' she struck her breast and broke her pipe. She said "on my soul ,Father,I broke my pipe."
