- There are two graveyards in the parish namely Molahiffe and Kilnanare. Molahiffe Churchyard is in the townland of Molahiffe and Kilnanare Churchyard is in the townland of Keelnanare. These graveyards are still in use. There are ruined churches in them. People are still buried withing these ruins. Molahiffe Churchyard is not level but it slopes to the south. There are no trees growing around the churchyard. There are crosses in the graveyards. The crosses are made of wood. There is no disused graveyard in the parish. The unbaptized children are buried in the Killeens. The Kileens are in Garret Barry's farm at Killeigh. They are not still in use.
- A boy and a girl were engaged to be married. Their parents objected to the marriage. The girl died of a broken heart and the boy died soon after. They are both buried in Kilnanare. There was a rose planted in the girl's grave, and a briar grew from the boy's grave. The rose and the briar twined together. After(continues on next page)
