  1. 3. Long ago there lived an old tailor. Every day he used be sewing on a table. He had a. farm also. One evening as his cows were being milked a woman came into his shop. She wanted a coal to light a fire. Under his table there was a cool full of cream. When the woman was gone about twenty yards he jumped off the table and threw a coal into the cream cool. At that moment the coal that the woman had quenched and she came in again for another coal. When she was gone outside the door again the tailor did the same thing and her coal quenched the second time. She returned the third time and the tailor did the same thing again. The coal quenched again. She threw away the coa. "Ah" said she to the tailor "you have your lessons" She was trying to carry the good of the milk, but the tailor was too good for her.
