    Old Story
One time there lived in this country a great giant. He said that he would go and fight Fionn Mac Cual. When Fionn heard this he got into a big cradle. This big giant came over the hills. He stayed about the hills to see could he see Fionn.Fionn never came out because he was afraid of this giant.
The giant got tired waiting and he came down to Fionn's house. He asked his wife was Fionn in the house. His wife said he was out on the hills hunting. The giant asked was this the baby in the cradle. The woman said that it was. Then the giant got afraid and he said what must Fionn be like when the baby is so big.He went away as quickly as he could. This giant got home and was very glad that he did not meet Fionn. This was Fionn in the cradle and the giant did not know it.When Fionn knew he was safe he got out of the cradle.Fionn was very thankful to his wife.
