    Saint succeeded in explaining the mystery of the Holy Trinity. When night comes many of the countryside gather together into the town to "drown their shamrocks". They do so by drinking the health of their neighbors. After this they usually attend concerts and other entertainments.

  2. The Landlord of my Locality
    [(Mr)?] Murray-Kerr was the name of the landlord in my locality. They came from England in the time of Oliver Cromwell and were very hard upon their tenants. Many evictions were carried out, sometimes when the rent had only been due a few weeks or days. That was considered a small space of time in those days as the yearly rent was extremely difficult to collect and often some article of furniture or some
