Gortmore. - Penal- Lore.During the Penal days there was Mass said at a place called Dromsnat. There is still a stone arch to be seen here, with a stone slab in the middle.
Tradition tell us that when St. [Tiofemach?] had his church at Dromsnat, a dispute rose as to where the Grave-Yard should be made. One party wanted it in one field, and another(continues on next page)- Collector
