    Patrick Brian Kavanagh,
    Clintycasta,
    Tydavnet,
When he was drawing turf he had to cross a little river whose banks were two feet high. When he was coming near the river with a load of turf on, he let the horse on and went back to the trams of the cart and lifted it off the bank and walked across the river with it, when he was going up a hight on the other side of the river the axle and wheels fell off and came rolling towards him, and with a quick step stepped across them and carried the cart to solid ground.
