  1. The nearest holy well in the district is Lady Well in the parish of Ballyruskil. People visit it on the fifteenth of August. Rounds are performed, the Rosary and other prayers are said and the water is drunk by those who visit the well.
    Once when the people in the district came short of water, they got some in the holy well but the water could not be boiled.
    No one is known to have been cured by the water of the well and no relics are left there. There is a bust growing over the well.
