  1. Once upon a time a man was eating his dinner in a hotel. The girl asked him if he would have an onion. He said, "Please." He had never heard of an onion before. She gave it to him and he ate it.
When he went out on the road he met a man "I'm telling you that hotel is a funny one," said he. "I was asked to eat an 'onion', and what do you think I got but an 'ingyun'!"

A couple of nights after he went home. His people asked him how he liked the place
"Wait till I tell you," said he, "The maids are too lazy to boil the cabbage. They give it to you raw."
