  1. In this district Saturday is regarded as unlucky for changing from house to house or for changing work.
    "The Cross Day of the Year" is not known in this district. On the 1st Monday of January it is thought lucky to handle silver early in the morning.
    An egg which is laid on Good Friday is supposed to keep away sickness through the year if eaten of Easter Sunday Monday. A child born on Sunday is never supposed to want for anything.
