    Starch got from grated raw potatoes is applied to ease the pain.
    Ear-ache:-
    a piece of roasted onion put into the ear and kept there for a few hours. The wool of a black sheep steeped in whiskey.
    Tooth-ache:-
    The old people used to put a butterfly into a bag. When the butterfly died the pain disappeared.
    Sprains:-
    Spring water poured over it several times a day. The injured part is then well rubbed with goose-grease.
    Sore eyes:-
    Wash with black tea.
