    When Daniel O'Brien of Lonart, Killorglin was cutting turf one day last Spring he struck the turf spade against some hard substance.
    Digging a hole around it he found that it was a firkin of butter.
    The guards hearing about the matter came to his house.
    They asked him to send the butter to Dublin but he did not.
    He used it to grease his carts.
