  2. How to make Oat-meal Bread.
    Put oat-meal into a basin and add salt. Then wet it with water and make a stiff paste. Roll it out on a bread-board and cut it into farls. Then place in front of the hot turf sods and keep turned until baked.

    When Our Lord was crucified and was nailed to the Cross the robin was angry when he saw the soldiers treating him so badly. He tried to take the nails out of Our Lords hands. When he was doing this a drop of blood fell
