  1. Some years ago in our district there was a very jolly runaway. It lasted for two long days. The man's name was Bernard Grey. His townland was Ardgonnell in the county Armagh.
    The girl's name was Loreto Roe. Her townland was Killymonaghan. They had the runaway in the house of John Hughes of Foyduff.
    There was plenty of whiskey and other kinds of drink. They had great feasting. Their food in the line of bread was plenty of oatcakes.
