  1. Tragic Happening
    About a mile from here in a farmer's house in the townland of Dernagrew, a man named Brady hanged himself in a barn. He came home one night from Monaghan. This man was a servant man and slept out side. When the master got up next morning he found the man hanging from the rafters.
