- The following is a list of the animals on our farm:-
One horse, two cows, two and sometimes three calves, 2 pigs. Poultry: Hens, ducks, turkeys. One of the cows we call "the miley" for she has no horns; the other we refer to as "Finnegan's cow" as she was bought about five years ago off a man called Finnegan in Ballybay Fair.Calls and words used or the different animals. When driving the cattle in or out of a field the common words used are "Hó Hó" and "Hish go (sischo back) back".
