  2. Almost forty years ago, Tom Maguire and Owen McCaffrey went to the harvest in Meath. Tom Maguire of Aghadreenan and Owen McCaffrey of Tahlagh were employed by my grand-father. These men were of the same age and were companions. Owen McCaffrey is dead but Tom Maguire is still living. He is seventy three years of age now.
