  1. One evening just as the darkness was falling a man named Thomas Henderson was coming from Castleblayney and he was drunk.
He saw a crowd of people standing around a house belonging to the Meeting house and he went over to see what they were doing.
Just then he saw two Priests in the house and they shouted "Satan come out and don't interfere with anybody here." and just then the black dog passed by, the man became sober and ever since that dog has been seen on the Big Bridge.
Different people have tried to shoot it but never anyone had a success.
