  1. In old times there lived a widow woman above Carrickmacross named Mrs Glue. She occupied a neat farm of land, had three sons and one daughter a little girl of seven years old called Anne.
    An old oak tree grew in the garden and an Eagles nest in it. Anne was an intelligent girl and one day she saw the Eagle coming with something in its claws. She detected it was a baby and the Eagle dropped it in its nest. After a few minutes the Eagle flew off again Anne went up the tree
