    For Louth, Armagh and Monaghan these verses are penned down.
    Concerning this great meeting that took place in Blayney town.
    It was on the lands of Broomfield in the parish of Donoughmayone.
    It will now be recorded until the end of time.
    II
    Our gallant men came on that day with courage, might and mains.
    In thousands they assembled there downwards came the rain.
    From Dundalk town all around and from plains valleys and bogs.
    Until they reached the land where they evicted Dr. Hogg.

    With bands and banners waving there they came in grand array.
    With gallant Castleblayney boys
