When any person had a disease say for instance the measles, nettle and lemon juice were given to him as a cure. The room in which he slept was kept in complete darkness as (wo) the old people say the person would get blind looking at the measles. Long ago when a person took the mumps he was taken three times into a pig sty and a hair of donkeys winkers on hom and each time he said "A lick in a lick a much in a much the pigs take care of the mumps you have."
