    One night while John Mac Hugh of Readuff, Laragh P.O., Castleblayney, County Monaghan was returning home from a wake, he saw a wee fairy woman sitting in old walls belonging to Francis Deery. She had a small red cap on her and was about one foot and a half high and had a small fairy stocking on her which was seen in the walls before that time. She was never seen about these walls since.
