  1. Travelling folk still all to our homes, as they have been doing so for several years. They are not so poor as they look, but some of them are poor enough. They sell small things, and if they are of any value, people buy from them. Some of them are welcome, mostly it is those who bring news from other parts, and tell stories that are the most welcome. When they come to the district, they have a caravan which they sleep in. They travel in families. Some of them travel on foot, others have an ass, and cart.
