  1. There was a man drowned in my district about seventy years ago. This man was drowned at night when he was coming home from town. He was an uncle of my grandfather and was drowned in a small quary about a quarter of a mile from my home in the townland of Tattygar.
    There was a great fire in my district in the townland of Kinnaghan about eighty five years ago. This fire was a big barn of hay and it belonged to Thomas McMahon. It was supposed to be burned by some neighbour beside McMahon's house.
