- (continued from previous page)all the fairies disappeared. The man attempted to go home and he could not find a gap to get out. He wandered about the place all night and the next morning he found himself in the middle of a fairy rath and when he reached home he put his hand in his pocket and in it he found a piece of paper instead of a pound note. After that he did not go often to play cards and whenever he went he never cheated.
