  1. Hugh McDonnell, Tattyreagh mowed two acres of hay in eight hours. His opponent was Charles Connolly, Devlin who mowed one acre and a half in the same time. The onlooker was Joe John Connolly a native of Devlin.
    James Clarke Tattyreagh was said to have mowed two acres of corn in one day. Spectators were Patrick Clarke and John Lennon.
