    There is a lovely spot in Erin that seems to me so ever fair.
    My heart in joyous gladness would forever wander there.
    Old Erin doth in grandeur and and in lovely scenes abound.
    But theres few of them more charming than the Shades of Blayney Town.

    They are like a scene in Eden of whose beauties we are told.
    Or like a spot enchanted by some fairy hand of old.
