    Three magpies is the sign of a wedding. Six magpies is the of a death. If you see a robin in an out house it is the sign of storm. When you see swallow's flying about it is a sign that summer is coming. If a thrush flies against the window it is the sign of a death. If you hear crows squalling on a tree it is the sign of wind. A crowing hen and a whistling woman come to a bad end.
