    The month of November the work all being done,
    Says I to myself I'll have a day's fun,
    I went up to the moate and my horn I did blow,
    I am sure I could be heard away down in Kilcrow.
    I was not long there until I had the two Keirs
    Likewise Paddy Lavell and Edward Myers,
    Johnny Owens from the Bush and more of the boys
