    Some days are lucky and some are unlucky. If a cow calves on Whit Sunday the calf will kill somebody or kill its self. If you cry on New Year's Day you will cry all the days of the year.
    If a cow calves on New Years Day she will not give much milk. If you take off some of your clothes on Good Friday you will not have the cold that year. The farmers put the calves to a new field on Friday. If you do not go to Mass on new Years Day
