    Cure for Consumption.
    A weed that grows in the Parish of Maghercloone has a blue blossom in Summer. This flower is given to the person who has consumption who boils it and drinks the juice which eats out the germ.
    Cure for a Boil.
    A slice of soap should be mixed with a handful of fine sugar until they become quite soft. The mixture should be then rubed on the boil which will be completely cured in a couple of days.
