  1. Magheross
    There was a church and graveyard in Magheross which is on the outskirts of the town of Carrickmacross. In the thirteenth century some soldiers shot the priest while saying Mass there. People have been buried there till some years ago. It is not locked and the tower of the church is still to be seen.
