  1. There are many beliefs with regard to the weather. When you see the clouds dark in the sky, and a ring around the moon, and a rainbow in the morning, and the sun up early these are four signs of rain. When the stars are glittering and the moon's horns are sharp that means frost. When the south wind blows that is the sign of rain. When the sky is red in the evening that is the sign that the following day is going to be good.
