  1. I live in the townland of Gurrane and in the parish of Kiltallagh. There are seventeen houses in the townland of Gurrane, but years ago there were about forty thatched houses. Some of these houses are slated, and as the rest of them are roofed with iron. There are three old people in the place two of them are over seventy years, and the other one is ninthy
