    The Potatoes .
    We plant potatoes every year for the table use, and for the cattle in winter time. First the land is ploughed and harrowed until it is as fine as snuff - as the people say. The drills are opened with the drill plough and the farm-yard manure is put along the furrows.
    The seeds are put on the manure about ten inches from each other.
